CompuLab
Introduces the SB-X270 - PC/104+ Single Board Computer
|
HAIFA,
ISRAEL May 07, 2006 CompuLab
introduced the SB-X270 - a low-cost PC/104+ Single Board Computer with
an outstanding level of function integration. The board's unique
mechanical design allows selecting between two popular form
factors: either standard PC/104+ with headers, or extended PC/104+
with front panel connectors. The SB-X270 uses a CM-X270 computer-on-module
for the implementation of core features, and benefits from a feature mix
compatible with the requirements of many market segments, including
control systems, multimedia and automotive applications.
About the SB-X270 PC/104+
The SB-X270, with an integrated CM-X270 module, contains an Intel
PXA270 CPU at 520 MHz,
a graphics controller for LCD and CRT, 2700G Multimedia Accelerator
with 3D and MPEG decoder, video input port, SDRAM, Flash Disk, two 100Mb
ethernet ports, USB, keyboard and mouse interfaces, sound, serial ports,
real-time clock and hard disk interface. Headers for standard
cables/connectors are provided for all functions, while most popular
interfaces are also available through an optional front
panel.
The SB-X270 provides several expansion connectors: PC/104
(ISA-equivalent
local bus), PC/104+ (PCI), PCMCIA, CardBus and MMC/SDIO slots.
Many of the above-mentioned
features are optional and are included according to the
application's requirements.
Pricing and
Availability
The SB-X270 board will be available for sale from 01-Jun-2006, and is priced,
including an integrated CM-X270 module, starting at $99 for 1K -unit quantities. Evaluation Kits are also
available from CompuLab.
