Post Re: utilite pro 4core gets hot
Thanks Igor,

Summer temperatures up in the 40s and higher are getting more common in the part of the world I live in and the use case I'm looking at cannot rely on an office environment being available.

cheers
Andrew

Post Re: utilite pro 4core gets hot
I run some "community computing" code to
"help humanity" solve tough challanges.

So, when I got my 'Pro, I popped the lid off,
and added some extra silicone-based thermal
("heat sink") compound. I noticed the heat sink
to lid interface did not have any, so that's where
I put most of it.

The lid gets just a touch too warm to keep my
fingers on it, but it's been five weeks nearly
continous now, so it's just getting burned in good!
