Post FreeBSD ubldr
Hi all,

I just completed a port for FreeBSD (u-boot-utilite) that will build an adapted u-boot to work together with FreeBSD's ubldr.

Basically all I had to ensure was that u-boot was built with
#define CONFIG_API

Anyway, it builds and installs and runs on my Utilite Pro, but then ubldr loads but does not recognize any drive to boot from.

If anyone has insight into the u-boot side of things and what (if any) ENV variables I need to set, please let me know.

I have this same problem. I can get ubldr to run, but it wont find the mmc card once I do. I've tried using:

and tried every combination of loaderdev= that I can think of.

mmc 0
mmc 2
mmc 0:2
mmc 2:2
mmc 2:2.0

Nothing seems to see the sd card. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I never managed to get any further with mmc.
I did manage, however, to get ubldr to recognize a usb stick.
Even then, I was not able to run the kernel successfully, but perhaps you could give it a try.

Anyway, apart from everything else, I suspect that the FreeBSD provided .dts files might also be in need of an overhaul?

Let me know if you make any progress!
