I definitely understand this is frustrating, but I am sure this can be resolved.

Can you boot the device into Linux (with the original SSD installation)? If you can, please do the following:
* Format the card for FAT filesystem on your PC.
* Insert the card into Utilite.
* Power-on and let the unit boot into Linux from SSD.
* In Ubuntu check whether the card is detected as a drive.

Please let me know the result.

Unfortunately I can't, which is the reason I'm trying to use the SD card boot in the first place.
I tried installing Arch and the install failed at some point, leaving my SSD unusable for now. For info when I try to boot on SSD, the kernel get stuck during initialization...

Can you get serial working?
Then you could issue this command in uboot

Make sure no sd cards are in and reset

Serial is working yes.
I tried these commands, kernel environment variable is correctly set, but it still doesn't boot, the kernel just get stuck...

The instructions for arch told you to

saveenv

If you think arch is on your ssd, then try above without saveenv, but issue boot instead

It can also mean:

the system got booted up, but no output on the serial console.
you serial console has not configured for login.

In case you have a screen connected, press CRT_ALT_F1. Is there a login prompt?

I'd appreciate it if you could post your system bootags.

What Linux distribution do you use?

I have connected a screen, it is well detected during boot, as I see some lines indicating

and other things, but my display doesn't detect any input.

There isn't any login prompt, and hitting Ctrl+Alt+F* keys didn't showed one..

As stated earlier, am issue appeared during the install of Arch, so I get it's part Ubuntu, part Arch :cry:
