Post restarting from scratch
I updated my utilite and now I cant get it to boot or get anything up on my HDMI.

I've tried to reimage it without success.

Is there any resource or image file I can get to totally reimage my SD card to get it back to its factory defaults ?

Hi,

Have a look at this page: http://compulab.co.il/utilite-computer/wiki/index.php/Utilite_Linux_Installation_and_Update

Depends on the Utilite model select a way if preparing boot/installation media.

Regards,
Valentin.

Hello,

Please get connected to your device either via the serial console or ssh, issue and post the output of these commands:

# udevadm info -a -p /sys/devices/platform/mxc_hdmi
# udevadm info -a -p /sys/devices/platform/mxc_dvi.0

Regards,
Valentin.

Hi,

The Utilite does boot up with DHCP, but w/o kernel ip=dhcp parameter. It means that the Ubuntu network-manager has to make the eth0 get an DHCP ip address.

The fact you can't see its ip makes me think that the device does not get to the network configuration.
It could be either a kernel panic or a rootfs issue that prevent the device to get to.

In order to rule out both of these problems I'd like you to try this approach:
Create an installation media of the Utilite Installer and try to boot up the Utilite from.
Utilite Installer Instruction:
http://compulab.co.il/utilite-computer/wiki/index.php/Utilite_Linux_Installation_and_Update

1) Make the Utilite boot up from a created SD card.
2) Share the results.

Regards,
Valentin.

Actually, it doesnt come with DHCP out of the box.

But i edited the /etc/network/interfaces file to use DHCP and voila, it works!

What are the default account details again please ?
