Post IPTables as standard
Pretty disappointed that this thing doesnt come with standard IP tables.

It has 2 RJ45's which makes it ideal for making a firewall, which was the reason I bought two of them.

I've had so much trouble with the unit trying to get stuff to work honestly I regret my purchase now

Code:
utilite@utilite-ubuntu-desktop:~$ iptables -L
FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.
iptables v1.4.12: can't initialize iptables table `filter': No chain/target/match by that name
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

Please fix this. I cant get the system to update either

Error during update

A problem occurred during the update. This is usually some sort of
network problem, please check your network connection and retry.

Code:
W:Failed to fetch http://ports.ubuntu.com/dists/trusty/Release Unable
to find expected entry 'main/binary-armel/Packages' in Release file
(Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file)
, W:Failed to fetch

Hi smarmysam,

Which model and kernel you have? I have Pro version with latest kernel and
nnnnn@utilite-desktop:~$ sudo iptables -L

gives a nice output about the rules which I have made using ufw/gufw. Maybe you just have to update your device with latest software: http://www.compulab.co.il/utilite-compu ... and_Update

I've reinstalled the system just few weeks ago and I did not have any problems with updates neither.

I have 2 standards.

I've installed the xubuntu_12_04-4.0.0.dev2.tar.bz2 from the http://compulab.co.il/utilite-computer/ ... inux_Image page

Hi smarmysam,

You should update to the latest image -> "utlite_ubuntu-12.04.3_2014-12-17.tar.bz2" with Kernel version 3.0.35-cm-fx6-6.3 because despite of its name (in subheader utilite-2), it is meant for your utilite.

On the top of the page there this sentence "This page provides reference to all supported Ubuntu Linux images for Utilite.

You should also follow/check all instructions from wiki pages "Linux Installation and Update" and "Linux User How-To's" and update also the uboot to the latest version etc.
