Post Bridge Support
Is bridge support going to be included in the base Utilite kernel image?

If not, is there any technical reason for this?

cheers,
Andrew

There is no reason that this options is not enabled yet.

The bridge supported kernel can be downloaded here:
http://utilite-computer.com/download/utilite/unofficial_unsupported/br/linux-image-imx6_3.0.35-cm-fx6-6.1-br-00001-g0893909_all.deb
1) Download to Utilite:
# wget http://utilite-computer.com/download/utilite/unofficial_unsupported/br/linux-image-imx6_3.0.35-cm-fx6-6.1-br-00001-g0893909_all.deb
2) Install it:
# dpkg -i linux-image-imx6_3.0.35-cm-fx6-6.1-br-00001-g0893909_all.deb

Regards,
Valentin.

Hi Andrew,

Yes, it does.

# zcat /proc/config.gz
shows the kernel config.

Make sure that what you need are in.

Valentin.

Thanks again!

I will let you know if I hit any snags.

Download and install of revised kernel all good.

I've tried to attach a file that shows the output from the dpkg command, some errors that do not appear to break anything but an error free experience is always optimal :-) This has failed due to invalid extensions - txt amongst others - so I'm including it inline.

Code:
utilite@utilite-desktop:~$ cd Downloads
utilite@utilite-desktop:~/Downloads$ wget http://utilite-computer.com/download/utilite/unofficial_unsupported/br/linux-image-imx6_3.0.35-cm-fx6-6.1-br-00001-g0893909_all.deb

Post Re: Bridge Support
Hello All,

I am experiencing the very same issue when trying to install the kernel update .deb file with dpkg.

I even tried it with --force-all but no luck.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks in advance
