Post Add some GPIOs to Utilite
Hello,

Is it possible to add a header with some GPIOs to the Utilite ?

Best Regards,

Utilite is a derivative of CM-FX6 intended as a closed-platform.
SBC-FX6 is an open-platform available from CompuLab and as such having GPIO headers.
See http://compulab.co.il/products/sbcs/sbc-fx6/#diagram

It should be easy to connect an cheap Arduino via USB to the Utilite if you need some GPIO's and also some analog to digital inputs for measuring. The Utilite and the Arduino gives a perfect combination.

I agree. Arduino will add the gpio and other functionality needed, and in the event of a mistake you likely will not smoke your Utilite.

Some arm systems are using Python in conjunction with a package called nanpy for easy and streamlined implementation of arduino. This should be easy to accomplish with Utilite as well.
