Post USB device port
Hi

I wonder what the small "USB device" port on the front right side is for / can be used for? I gather it's for having TS as a slave device on a USB bus but when I plug it to my laptop it doesn't show up in lsusb.

Is there a driver that has to be loaded? And what's an example use case for it?

Thanks!

Post Re: USB device port
Hi,

the micro-USB connector is indeed intended to connect the Trim-Slice to a host PC as a USB slave device. This port is multiplexed with the SATA port (see http://trimslice.com/web/trim-slice-pro-specifications), so it is disabled in the default Linux stack. It is possible to enable this port (instead of SATA) by tweaking the kernel.

Best Regards,
Igor.
