I'm running Ubuntu Natty, with a Trim Slice H, and I don't have a wireless device.

Hi,

Follow the procedure and let me know whether your Ralink RT2870/3070 has shown up:
0) Get connected through the serial console
1) Turn off the Trim-Slice
2) Plug the HDMI cabbel off
3) Turn on the Trim-Slice
4) Hit any key, as soon as the U-Boot prompt has turned out on the console
5) Plug the HDMI cabbel in
6) Type "run scan_boot"

In case you are not able to get connected through the console:
1) Turn off the Trim-Slice
2) Plug the HDMI cabbel off
3) Turn on the Trim-Slice
4) Wait a second
5) Plug the HDMI cabbel in

Let me know whether "lsusb" shows a Ralink wireless adapter.

Yes. This worked. It also works if I switch off the display, and turn it back on a few seconds after starting the Trim Slice.
