Post Proprietary drivers
Hi

I've been reading about the TrimSlice dev kits and was comparing it to the other ARM based development platforms.

I came across the mention of proprietary drivers for Trimslice in couple of places but I'm not able to figure out for which devices are the drivers proprietary ? I'm guessing it is for the nvidia Tegra chipset itself ?

If that is the case am I restricted in the available toolchains I can use for building the software for this board ? It would be good if someone can explain which component is proprietary.

Thanks.

Post Re: Proprietary drivers
Display driver and all GPU related drivers are NVIDIA proprietary.
Toolchains in use (usually GCC) are discussed in the corresponding project. CompuLab build is documented at http://trimslice.com/wiki/index.php/Trim-Slice_Linux
