Post TS Pro HDMI problem
I see that the HDMI support is very shaky.

For example:
When connecting to my TV directly, it seems ok.
When connecting via HDMI splitter, I don't see the Ubuntu menus, I see what seems as the right side of a larger workspace.
I've also encountered the exact same issue when connecting directly to my Samsung screen.

Is someone encountered similar issues ?

The HDMI port currently supports only 1080p displays. Support for other resolutions is work in progress.
HDMI detection is not supported in the current SW implementation, so it is best to have the display connected before boot.

I've connected the HDMI before boot, directly to my Samsung screen, which supports 1080p resolution (2 feet cable).
I always see the same problem.
I don't see it when connecting directly to my Philips TV.

In order to use the analog audio output on TrimSlice running Ubuntu use gnome-volume-control; go to “Output” page and chose “tegra-trimslice-analog” as a device for sound output. It will make Ubuntu use analog output instead of HDMI.
