CompuLab
Introduces fit-PC2 - a small and rugged Atom computer
|
|
|
HAIFA, ISRAEL – February 19, 2009
– CompuLab introduces fit-PC2 – a tiny, inexpensive and power-efficient PC computer, based on Intel’s Atom Z530 processor and
US15W chipset. Fit-PC2's size, only 115 x 101 x 27 mm, makes it the
smallest product in the market - it can practically fit in a pocket. Yet it boasts
the capabilities of a full-featured desktop,
including a 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 160GB harddisk, all
packed into a rugged aluminum case. Fit-PC2 smoothly runs Windows XP /
Vista / Win 7 and Linux, as well as all mainstream
applications. Fit-PC2's outstandingly low power consumption – just
6W, makes it the greenest PC ever introduced. Low power
consumption provides another important benefit – fit-PC2 doesn’t
require a fan, making it absolutely quiet and improving system reliability by
obviating any moving parts. In
combination with SSD, it creates a perfect shock tolerant system,
ideal for car computers and automotive applications.
